Meet Charles Hart

​I founded After Hours Family Mediation with a simple goal: to help people get through one of the most difficult periods of their lives with clarity, dignity, and as little conflict as possible.

I understand firsthand how overwhelming family disputes can be—especially when you’re trying to figure out what your future will look like. My approach is built on the belief that most families don’t need more fighting, more stress, or more expense. They need a structured, respectful conversation that leads to real solutions.

​My role as a certified mediator is to guide that conversation. I help clients work through issues like divorce, timesharing, and child support in a way that minimizes conflict, reduces costs, and avoids unnecessary involvement from courts, attorneys, and the public whenever possible. The focus is always on practical resolutions that allow you to move forward.

Before becoming a mediator, I served in public leadership roles and spent years working within the justice system, gaining extensive experience resolving complex and high-stakes disputes. That background allows me to bring both structure and common sense to the mediation process, while keeping the focus on people—not just positions.

Outside of mediation, I’m an avid fan of Florida Gator athletics and enjoy travel, history, and reading. But what I value most is helping people solve problems in a way that lets them move on with their lives.
